Clinical education plays an integral part of the education of our students.
They begin their clinical education in term 2 where they attend Clinical Skills Labs for 4 hours per week.
In terms 3-5, the students attend Clinical Skills Labs for 8 hours per week, rotating through both the general and cardiac departments.
In term 6, the students attend Practicum for 4 shifts per week. Prior to term 6, the students choose which specialty they want to pursue and that is their focus for their Practicum course. The students complete Sonography Canada’s CCSA’s during their term 6 Practicum course.
